Is there a way to stop the display from displaying the next road while you are NOT using the GPS?

When I have the radio on...it displays on top.

When I have the fuel economy display on it displays on top.

I could/would understand if I were actually navigating to somewhere....but it does it all the time.

Thanks

Would also like to know. I haven't found anything in the settings that can change it to display e.g. the current radio station or music track that's playing.

Same here. I also would like to know how Radio favorites could just display the favorites for the source I'm listening to. For example, if I'm listening to XM radio I couldn't care less what my FM or AM favorites are and would like to just browse through my favorites XM channels.

I only listen to SiriusXM so I only program in SiriusXM channels thus always get them when I hit the STAR button.

But I see where your frustration is.

I have noticed that using the steering wheel mounted controls to change stations will only cycle through the favorites of the source currently being listened to (e.g. only the XM favorites).

Thanks a lot. I'll use the steering controls then.
Edit: better than nothing BUT it's not completely satisfactory. Using the steering wheel commands cycles from one XM channel to the next in the list. I was looking for a way to scroll down the list and directly select the XM channel I want to listen to.

Agreed, it's better than nothing.

It's too bad some vehicle manufacturers have moved almost completely away from buttons/knobs and towards touchscreens. Being able to feel buttons (e.g. radio station presets) while driving can be faster and safer. I'm glad Mazda has included a Commander Switch/Knob in its latest vehicles to complement the touchscreen. With this and the steering wheel mounted controls, I don't really find myself having to use the touchscreen much.

I found the solution! In XM source (not in FM and AM) there's a Channels List option at the bottom of the screen (2nd from the left). Selecting it with the Commander knob shows the list of my favorite XM channels. I can scroll and select whatever XM channel I want.
Problem solved.

Good find, thanks!

I found that has changed with the new firmware up date (55). It used to only do AM/FM or XM. Now it scrolls all the way through your faves.
