Blue MP3
As most people I have a huge wish list for my mp3.....The one thing that I love other than cosmetic and performance mods are sound and video mods....(multimedia)
I was wondering if it is possible to run a ps2 off of a in-dash monitor and use the ps2 as the dvd player and If so can this be done through the factory sound system? Help please......thanx!

hey gjmoreo..........I am no audio expert but I know you can have a PS2 and a in dash TV in your car.
Now you have an MP3..........So you have a Kenwood deck. If they have output plugs (the white and red ones), than I am pretty sure you can do that with the factory stereo system.
Hell, I seen a corolla that has that with just a normal aftermarket deck !!

audio and video outputs

ok......so what your saying is the indash monitor should have outputs for audio and video? I would just use the rca cables?
how will I get the sound from my ps2 to the mp3 player then to the monitor? Sorry I still dont understand........any more? Thanx!:)

hm..........as I said....I am no audio expert....haha
but I am just saying this out of common sense....alright ??
In Dash Tv-----------into------------PS2--------------Kenwood.
Coz all the TV needs is power. If I am right....there is YELLOW,WHITE,and RED input....right ??
I guess the PS2 wires (YELLOW) goes into the TV and WHITE AND RED will go into the Kenwood System..........

I am really sorry for this unprofessional information......:(

If you only want the one screen(indash) you should be all good all you have to do is put the PS2 into the input of the indash and run the output of the insh to the Kenwood, If you get more that one screen you will need a video amp to run all the scrrens and in that case you run the input of the ps2 to the amp and video out to all screens and sound back to the kenwood. good luck dude :)

what i this?

Sounds good guys! thanks....But i have another question.....I had seen this on another post what could I use this for? or will I even need it? kenwood ca-ciaux

dont know

it is easy to find out put the deck out and see if there are aux in rca's if yes then you will not need that, if there are know aux in Rca's then you will need that adapter.

ok, well I guess this is going to be one of those jobs where I just have to get my hands dirty to see how its going to go. If I get stuck I'll just drive around with half of my radio hanging out of my dash! LOL! anyway, thanks everyone........If anyone else has input please post....:) :)
