i wanna know the total cost of importing a cosmo legally into the states. I ask because i have tight budget on how to spend. i don't wanna go calling shippers and what not and at the end i dont have enough money. thanks

P.S. I currently own 2 out of 4 rx7's that I've owned, I'd have to say i cant seem to get enough of the rotaries. what better way to top it off by owning a COSMO(mj)

Hi, I dont think you are allowed to register it for the road in the USA until it is 25 years old,, that is what I have read on other forums,, I know there is a couple road legal in the states but not sure how they managed to do it,, I am sure somebody will be able to help you with regards importing, however you would probably be better thinking about one from Canada as there a few legal ones there,, it would keep the import costs down that's for sure

Here in canada thay have put a law to stop importing those for now and having them strret legal, I don't know when we will be able to have them on the road

I currently live and work in the US and have a Cosmo in my collection back in the UK. Everything I have heard and come across with regard importing the Cosmo to the US is as Frank has outlined. Not until they are classed as a vintage car at age 25 can you legally bring one in and use it.
