Just sharing the wonderful news!!! My wife & I found out Thanksgiving night, but wanted to wait a while til we were further along! We don't know the sex of the baby yet...but will find out at her 18 week visit (she's at 10 weeks now, so another visit at 14 weeks, then again at 18.) Also we get to hear the heartbeat at our next visit.....very exciting!! I already saw the babies heartbeat on the ultrasound a couple weeks ago...but it's too soon to actually hear it!!

(cheers) (drinks) (thumb) (dance) (headbang) (mj) (rockon) (nana) (yippy) (wiggle) (band2) (cheers2)

Thats Awsome dude. I too am going to be a father for the first time on
January 27, 2005. Its going to be a boy and we named him kaleb Robert James

AWESOME!! Get ready for sleepless nights for at least the first 3 months or so!! lol I've been there twice. Once you see your baby for the first time you will not be able to keep your eyes off him or her.. you will be in love all over again.. everytime you look at them.
my babies are now 6 and 3.

WHAT ??????!!!!
Don't mess around man with with his joyus occasion!!!!

Congrats. It's exciting to do everything with the visits and ultrasounds for the first time. Just make sure to plan for MANY sleepless nights and spending LOADS of cash on the baby. Kids are expensive these days. And try to stay away from brand name high dollar clothes. It only takes one milk spit up or dirty diaper to stain an outfit you just spent $50 on. If nothing else, start saving a little money on the side every week for the next few months. And if you remember nothing else.... remember that the outfit you just bought him one month ago will not fit the next... just fyi. lol

I don't know about the free bezels for all (LOL!) but that's part of my "baby fund". Also, I fully understand the clothes/sleepless nights thing through my 2 brothers (each w/ 2 kids now). As for the clothes, I think my mother-in-law will be supplying us with all the outfits for years....it's her first Grandbaby!! She's already been to Babys R Us at least a dozen times!!!

You need to be hitting up those brothers for the baby clothes! My sister had her little girl last April, and with our little boy on the way in May, :D we're snatching up all the unisex stuff we can get from her.

Congrats. The heartbeat is super cool to hear. Seeing him on the ultrasound, and finding out it's a boy has been the highlight of my December.

The Protege I bought this fall is intended to be the kid hauler.

Congrats Leadfoot!! My son is 2 1/2 and oh my when it gets to this age watch out. The beginning is great but boring. You can sit and stare at them for hours and they dont talk back or run away, but then you can't do all the fun stuff with them yet.... But then they get to be two... With your brothers kids I am sure your used to it, but the bad thing with me is I am a single mother, so I do have to be tough and show him whose boss... I can already tell he is going to be a punk when he gets older, but no matter how much they get on your nerves one thing is for sure from the first moment you hear there heartbeat or feel there kicks you will love them from that point on and no matter how bad you want to wring there necks, you will always love them and they change your life completely in so many different ways... they are great and it is so exciting... I cannot wait for the next, but hmmmm that will be a little while. Good luck and have fun!! My ex fiancee isn't the father, but he treats him as if he was and my son loves cars and basketball because that is what he is into. All I hear is cars mommy cars... he loves his cars! Boys are so much fun, but they also drive you crazy at times (crazy)
