Illinois State Beach 05.13.06 Meet

Saturday (sad1)

High 53
Low 43

Remnants of stalled storm in control. Gray for a 4th consecutive daydamp, raw and drizzly too. Spells of light rain at times. Much less wind. (sad1)

I HATE CHICAGO WEATHER. You guys up for doing anything else Saturday? If not we can all sit in the parking lot in our cars looking at each others cars in the rain. (bang)

we could go to old orchard mall and meet in that parking garage or navy piers parking garage lol

I think we should all decide by tonight if not maybe a bbq at someones house or something, a get together somewhere, a dinner, I don't know.

Something because it is looking miserable tomorrow. I was out yesterday at a job site marking a patio and walk. Just absolutely sucked ass. Indoors is looking more and more like a reality unless people are still up for the beach.

There is one in Gurnee but I think it is small. Maybe some of the other guys know. That would be pretty cool.

**Just spoke with my bro and he told me that rink side in Gurnee holds between 20-25 people. It is one option for tomorrow or one think we can do.

downtown isn't too bad for parking on weekends if you know how to do it... i rarely pay for parking or if i do rarely more than $10

Ditto. I can park at North Pier area (just outside Navy Pier) any day any time for cheap if I remember quarters. But otherwise, I'm stuck with $25 parking with the first available spot like 15 floors up.

If you guys were smart, you'd do a Park and Ride. Park at the lots at Cumberland & I90 or River Rd in Rosemont on the north side, Des Plaines/River Rd in Forest Park for the west siders, or 95th & I90 for south siders. It's usually only a few bucks to park and 4 bucks round trip on the 'L'.

Dude! it gonna be raining for the next week! I ten day forecast says everyday until sat even. We have to reorganize the beach meet for a warm sunny day.
