im sure if it does get passed, some cops wont even bother pulling people over for a loud exhaust. however, it does give the cops that are assholes a new reason to harrass people. thats all these things are is harrassment laws. they are all subjetive laws that most cops dont care about except for a select few who choose to be dickwads. tint, colored bulbs, loud stereos, loud exhausts; its all the same s***. the only purpose is to give the cops something to do when they are bored.

BTW, Quebec already has this law, but it works a little different....you get a $100 fine every time you get caught with a loud aftermarket exhaust (ie a fart can). They even said on the news that they were only targeting civics.
