Hello all, thanks ahead of time for any suggestions you can provide!
First off, I purchased my '03 red MP5 5-spd new in Jul '03. Almost 5 years later I now have 42,500 enjoyable, trouble free miles on her (headbang) !
I am looking at page 8-4 in the owners manual, and it states that the plugs should be changed every 30,000 miles. Huh? Seems a little early to me. What's everones experience with this?
Anyway...
If the plugs do need to be replaced, I figure now may be a good time to upgrade the ignition system (my warranty has expired). What I am looking for is something that is easy to install and will give a boost in both performance and mileage if at all possible. Reliability is of the utmost importance.
Thanks again for your suggestions.
EDIT: After reading other threads, is it just better to stick with the stock parts???
