If you STILL haven't decided on if/what bolt-ons you'd like

Look at my sig. Repeat.

PG Exhaust manifold and CS downpipe were a b**** to install. 5pm-5am, straight, two men, one nigh-genius proficiency mechanically, the other, amateur to intermediate mechanistry, and allow 2 hours for gas station visits and eating pizza (lots of pizza).

However the turbo spools up almost 4x faster, it's crazy to watch it spool on my boost gauge, it is VERY quick. The intake sounds of air sucking in are even MORE pronounced and cool, and my rumblish exhaust sounds under moderate to WOT are very satisfying. I haven't gotten ON it yet as I need the PG variant/oops manifold TMIC spacers and tubing kit upgrade (in the mail), currently there is some salvaged/cannibalized heat shielding fabric stuffed between my silicone tube and the top curve of the manifold. I don't know the heat threshold, so I'm being 'safe'. The difference in the power available is noticeable as HELL on the BD.

Questions please ask me, happy to answer!

Any kind of fuel/boost cut?

Absolutely nothing of the sort so far. I reset my ECU the next day too because the summer gas is in full effect, no more bad winter crap. Also, duh, the parts. LOL.

Although as I said, I have NOT really gotten on it hard, only once or twice and then it was a reserved getting 'on' it. But I tell you one thing, it's noticeably more powerful because I have been accelerating lightly in an effort to save gas even before this installation, and the same about 1/3 way down acceleration curve 1st-3rd being conservative is a different level of acceleration now. There is a blatantly obvious increase in the sense of latent/potential energy under the pedal post-install of these two babies.

Plus, they DP and mani are fricking beautiful, the stock parts are FUGLY and sad and heavy. It's a damned shame the stock TMIC hides these parts almost utterly.

is this stuff safe to run with just the factory ecu? .....as I have almost officially given up on the AP. if I can run a TMIC, header, and dp. And the factory ecu will adapt safely, make power, and not cut boost. I'm to the point that I dont see the need to use the AP and its allowable mods. Until it is ProTunable.

I've been running her wide open now and the power change is sick. I'm not pushing 400 or something and I haven't dyno'd, but it is more responsive, 1st and 2nd are rough in rain unless I am barely using gas. I haven't had fuel or boost cut; I haven't had a single issue yet. My sig mods will net you speed, no issues. I've never had a CEL in my car since I bought it; not one. I'm not going with the AP until there is a tune available, I'm not running it 'hoping' stage 2 is close enough.
