If you could buy your car over again.... would you?

"Yeah, I got the same picture. I guess that's cool."

yea.... Most people don't have a clue where that even came from, they just think they are cool doing it...lol

Yeah, I'm so dumb. I know. One would think they wouldn't have 20 problems. Of course you can't research through this site, because you can't b****.

shaolin: Yes they have and they haven't had the same problems as the MSP, only the MP3 has the same problems that I know of. Some people would ASSUME that the problems would be worked out. It's called learning from mistakes. Such a big leap from normal thinking.

You guys always spout the same s***. "blah blah you should've researched" RESEARCH WHAT? fucktard. There's no car that is exactly like ours. "Sell your car blah blah" That's so wise. Hey why don't you go get screwed some more? It's not the fact people want to actually get rid of the car, they want to complain about the problems. I understand what this forum is. I felt that I could say YEAH I WOULDN'T BUY IT AGAIN BECAUSE OF THIS THIS AND THIS, without you stupid ass elitist ***** telling me how stupid I am because I am complaining about s*** you apparently have no clue about. Whatever, i'm done with you kids. Get a clue.

I Think YOU need to get the clue. You have posted in the past that you look around on a lot a car forums and from what it looked like you research a lot about the other cars and can spout off a good amount of stuff about the cars. What is there to Miss when looking on a forum its not hard to find problems with a car on a forum when they have them stickyed at the top. The hesitation and clunk have been known about from day one, its not hard to open your eyes and actaully pick that up. What the hell does bitching have to do with research when in the frig have they ever been used in the same sentence. All you have to do is LOOK. You did say why you didnt like the car and then went on to say the car sucks a few times and not just in this thread. Of course your going to catch s*** for bashing a car in its own site. Im glad us kids can actaully make decision in life that ARENT on the level of a invalid

Thus the reason gap insurance exists.

Exactly, that's why I put 0 down too hehe, just incase someone decides to plow into me like my last car, I wont have to take a big money cut for someone else's stupidity.

About the WRX getting worse gas mileage: I think it depends more on your driving style. My friend manages to get ~28mpg cruising at 80mph (I get 30 :D :p ) yet my cousin still ONLY manages to get ~22-25mpg, probably because his lead foot cant keep the turbo from providing boost. Is it worse than the MSP, yes. But I think it only should be a big factor if you commute a lot.

For insurance I've actually heard some people getting quoted a lower rate on the WRX. Why I dont know but my only guess is there are more WRXs out there than MSPs and from the bills I've seen of minor damage on the MSP

You get 30 on a WRX??
Aren't they only supposed to make like 21/22 or something?
I'm not sure yet what I'm making with the MSP - I got about 30-32 driving it home from the dealer (about 60mi away). But that's the last time I drove it without traffic getting in my way. And I've been having a little too much fun playing with it since to be getting very good mileage anyway ^____^

For insurance I've actually heard some people getting quoted a lower rate on the WRX.

I'd be impressed with that(if not entirely surprised, insurance rates vary too much for seemingly odd reasons some times). I was worried the MSP was going to hurt me more than it did, but from asking around about a WRX I was rather under the impression the insurance companies were going to want my first-born or something....

English is fun. I didn't buy my car yesterday. WOW the stickies have been here forever huh? UH NO! Invalid. Yeap. Research problems with a car that hasn't been out, great point if I BOUGHT IT WITHIN THE LAST MONTH. You're a genius. You must be some sort of rocket scientist. I hope you aren't playing with Quantum Physics.

Lets see, No i wouldn't buy it again. I love the car alot and i can compare it to a 87 fiero gt i had, i dumped like 3 gs into it and it was just as fast if not faster and handled just as good as my msp and this thing was Show room cond. too extremely nice.I loved that too..but hey i love turbos too so sold the fiero and got a MSP. the only reason i wouldn't buy it again is because i wanna try out other cars and my true love is 2 seater rear engine/rear drive. So maybe all try to find a NSX for next summer or atleast a vette or m3. I could care less about the problems the car has. My car has almost 2500 miles on it and i took it in and had the coolant/clunk things took care of. I didn;t get it back yet but i'm sure it will be fine. My dealer seams very excited to keep me happy. Knowing myself all prolly trade it in next year and get something different for summer cause i love rear wheel drive/2seater, Or i could end up buy a newer 240sx and hookin it up who knows..or maybe all just keep it and when i need a real kick in the ass all just get on my Rc-51 and clutch up a wheelie and get a real rush.I love the msp it rips pretty good ,handles awesome. So for now i am happy i don;t regret buying it at all..well i do when the time rolls around to write the check to pay for it..but then again everyone hates spending lots of money. But hey if u wanna play u gotta pay.
Later

The Hesitation Sticky that is part of the MEGA INFO THREAD was up for MONTHS and Several More about the Hesitation way before that and the CLunks been known about for a couple YEARS now. The Radio problems were being posted about since Feb. Anything Else. I sure hope your not doing anything past bagging groceries for customers remeber the meat gets put in a separate bag.

honestly.. no. i would not.. i kinda regret it now.but i will make the best of with what i have. i think i should have gone with a truck. but oh well.. this car will look good when its done

wish me luck, i'll be negotiating a price with the dealer this week sometime. if i can't get it for 16K i'm screwed...

Okay smart guy, I knew about all the problems when I bought my car because I came to this site, and researched the problems. Not only here, but on many forums across the internet. Go figure...The only one that caught me offgaurd was the alarm.

My 7th generation civic has many suspension problems of it's own, and they are problems that continue to plague the civics in it's fourth year running. Explain that one huh....car manufacturers rarely do more than TSB's to correct it, because frankly most people don't notice them going wrong. Why fix all when you can save a few bucks by only fixing a select few..

If I could do it all over again I would buy a Used 2001 or 2002 Camaro SS or Trans Am WS6

I wouldn't. I test drove one the same night I bought my mp3...and it handled like ass.

Heavy, slip, sliding ass. But hey it goes straight really well and you can do your best Tim Allen impersonation "Raaar Raaaar more Power." :p

There is no way in hell they would get me into a nother MSP. This was my first NEW car and what a mistake.

I am seriously considering purchasing an MSP within the next couple weeks if I can get a hell of a deal. I can deal with the problems if my local Mazda shop treats me well. I guess I am worried about the repair costs on this car after the warranty is up. My 99 Accord never gives me any problems but is also not fast nor does it look good. My other options (in the next higher price bracket) would be a V6 in the Accord, Altima, or Mazda 6.
