If Rattles drive you crazy!** POST HERE**

my car rattles like crazy..because of my motor mounts but even before I got those, the center piece that surrounds the radio and climate controls would squeak like crazy when driving. no matter if i hit it or not, it still squeaked. and it also sounded like the drivers side a pillar would rattle and somewhere on the dash by the windshield defrost would rattle to. My dash rattles at low rpms with my motor mounts now. but that explains it. lol

like your sig..lol. that has happened to me before. A Dodge Magnum flashed its brights on me one night, then pulled beside me. I slowly started to speed up and so did the magnum. So we both took off just for the hell of it...or so I thought. Next thing you know, the car slows down and gets behind me..then blue lights were all over the inside of the car..it was a freaking unmarked police car. Gotta love south carolina tactics. anyway back on topic, sorry

that's illegal to make u break the law then pull u over for it...at least it is down here. it should be the same. He provoked u (that has to be spelled wrong) lol

yeah the rattle from my Engine Bay sounds like either the engine stalling or a loose exhaust bolt......something metal lol

my fix for a rattle

Most interior squeaks can be resolved with a little wd-40. I had a dash rattle which was helped by tightening the screws on the bottom of the steering wheel.

Later I had a severe rattle which seemed to get worse when I tapped the steering wheel stalk. Louder and louder and then suddenly a quarter fell out! No more rattle.

After I get the Frost King insulation to lower the cabin noise, I'm gonna spray my door panels with undercoating. This should lower noise/rattles by alot.

when mine starts shaking an rattling i crank it up to 25!!! not 11....
then all you can hear is BOOOOOOOM

My mazda is all safe out of the snow now..... but jesus H **** my winter beater accord is a vibrating *****. Everything rattles especially in the cold, I almost cause accidents trying to hit and push on stuff to make it stop!

Cold just sucks, When first started the winter beater it was so cold the alternator pulley wasn't moving but the belt was, talk about a squeel. Hammer fixed it right good though

rattle in the instrument bezel
rattle in the ash tray
rattle in the door

Fixed most of the bad rattles by putting small squares of gorilla tape everywhere the trunk door panel met the metal of the lid. Oh yeah, placed the squares over the clip holes then slit it with a razor so the clip could go through but the tape silenced it.

New rattle in the back
Blaming this one on the studded snow tires

Front end sqeeks in the cold but so does my 07 M5, price for performance (urethane bushings).

squeak somewhere in the back
whistle from a poorly sealed replacement windshield (sounds like a damn bird is living in my visor.
squeaky springs.
clunking suspension.
squeak in the driver's door.

dear God, this car's gonna crumble to bits with me on the road one of these days.

Here's one I haven't seen (heard), my front bumper rattles like hell. Can't hear it from the inside really, 'cept maybe at the drive through. Stuffed a rag up in her (ew) and mostly fixed it for now.

was it rattling right in front of the headlights?

i have it too, when im near the front bump passenger side it rattles near the headlight. if i touch it it stops.
