Idle...

Aight well today I took the speed out to get some food, after having the fmic and the piping installed over the weekend. As I was driving I noticed that the car when put into neutral would idle real low, and then jump back up to the regular idling point. Does anybody have the same problem, had the same problem, or know wats goin on. I think it may be the idle control valve, but when the ac is on, its almost like its giving it a jump and that keeps the idle up there..But randomly it will go down and then jump back up after driving it around town. Thanks

Yeah it is because u have your BOV after your MAF. Relocating your MAF will fix this problem 100%. Or you can recirclate your bov back into your intake.

MSP's don't idle for s***. It's very common if not normal for them to start having idle problem once you've changed out the stock intake, exhast, and IC piping

no s***..well wats an easy way to fix that..u know an easy way to relocate it..
I would like to keep from completely redoing my intercooler piping to relocate the blow off valve, bc we put it in front of the grill instead of wat most people do and weld it onto the piping..i may just have to live with it ???

Mine does the same thing and I'm not nearly as modified as you are. I know that my problem is coming from my exhaust manifold leaking. If you haven't checked that yet it could be a possible solution as well as these other things.

Seafoam, it may fix your problem, unless its the open venting. I use it all the time and my idle is fine at 750 RPM's all the time. Remove the plastic MSP cover and pour some in the vacuum tube off of the PCV and rev the engine with the throttle plate a few times, turn it off and let it sit for 5 minutes, then restart it.

So wat do u guys think is the easiest way to move my maf with the setup that I have to control the stalling.....With the custom front mount and all that intake piping I really don't want to recirculate..
