idle probs

96 protege lx swapped auto for 5 speed runs great 194k has started idleing at 2700 when starts cold and when warm unless i push in clutch idles at 1500 when i push clutch it drops to 800 most of the time till i let out clutch again any ideas

have you tried to adjust your idle? is it doing this just when its cold?

did you change your throttle position sensor. I am sure you can adjust the idle screw to calm the idle down some but I am betting the real cure would be installing a mtx tps.

atx = automatic tranny
mtx = manual tranny

there is a different tps for each tranny
