Ideal Shock replacement

My 04 just hit the 40K mile mark. I thought the ride sucked when new, now its really bad. When new, i found the ride to be harsh compared to my wife's corolla but then i read that it supposed to ride that way due to its "sport Tuned suspension". Now it feels like a pogo stick. Has anyone changed all 4 corners with a set of shocks that has a better ride quality than the stock set up. I'm way past my boy racer years but i like the look of the car. The stock shocks really suck!

I put the Koni FSDs on, and they are a tremendous improvement over stock. They make a firmer, yet more refined ride with better handling characteristics to boot.

Can you give me a ball park figure for the cost. i don't know if i'll be able to find them in Puerto Rico so i'll probably have to factor in shipping cost
