how bout the ACR neon..wasnt that the same motor but lighter weight with some serious suspension upgrades?

damn, i didnt know the espresso had 150hp...IIRC it was one of the trims that came in the funky colors and had the ghey vinyl that said espresso..."a racer in ricers clothing" (lol2)

the neon ACR (american club racer) came with Koni adujstible shocks, stiffer springs, 22mm front sway bar, 19mm rear, no speed limiter, and the 150hp DOHC engine
it also came with a bag of SCCA goodies and some other nice mopar toys
it was a race car, no radio, no sound deadining material, no AC

the Expresso's were mostly automatic, auto neons are not worth the time of day, sohc or dohc

Yeah I used to have a sport and lemme tell you, it was fun beyond belief to woop up some v-6 mustangs and others who thought I couldn't even get close to em.

damn, I saw one of those at the track last night...his best time was a 13.93(shocked)

runnin slicks, open exhaust, and TOTALLY gutted. Funny thing was, thats faster than the fastest time any of the 10+ SRT-4s ran

They're all neons, even SRT's. The only reason people dont hate them yet is that they havnt been around long enough to accumulate the Dodge reliabilty reputation that other neons have and deserve.
