I was cleaning out my trunk and found a surprise...the bad kind...

So what are you going to do for a spare. Over the years, I've had to use a spare on my cars 3 times. To me, that is 3 too many times.

I have a spare, but I also have towing and roadside assistance on my insurance policy, so unless I was taking a trip through the desert, I wouldn't worry about it.

But anyways, Anyone have an idea on what I could do with the extra space I'm going to have? (where the spare tire used to be).

I'm thinking I might try to put a computer there or something and try to rig up some features.

What type of computer/features? Doesn't seem like a good spot for a computer due to the water/vibrations/distance from power sources.... What did u have in mind?

Eh idk i already have wires going back there to my amp. So I don't see the problem with running a few more for the computer. And I...well my ideas are pretty crazy Its gonna be a while until that happens because:

1)I have about $800 saved up right now/no job
2)i've been in 2 accidents and my car probably wont pass inspection in 5 months without at least 700$ of repairs,
3) my car insurance is due in 3 weeks ($650)

Ahhh so anyone know how much spare tires go for?

I haven't seen a lot of the 'pimp my ride' episodes. But did they ever figure out anything useful to put inside the trunk? Honestly, being able to play a ps3 in my backseat doesn't strike me as a good investment for a car. Mostly because I'll be too busy driving in the front seat.

Kinda confused here, what are the crazy ideas? Here's my crazy idea, fix the car, get it inspected, get it insured & get a flat repair plug kit/cig lighter air pump until finding a spare. And if you get a spare then where's the crazy stuff gonna go? Ah damn, confused again...........not. Fix the car for function & legality then wonder about crazy ideas.
