do what you like.. 2500 includes all of the necessary things you need.

turbo, manifold, wastegate, blow off valve, FMI, intercooler piping, oil lines, down pipe, mpi and an intake manifold powdercoated black with a secondary fuel rail and injector setup...

you can't and won't beat that.

I don't know that a secondary fuel rail is the way I'd want to go... but if you're offering up a complete kit which essentially everything needed to bolt in and go, you've saved him a TON of legwork, and headaches.

If you try to piece your own kit together, you're invariably going to end up with a couple of parts that you have to do a lot of work with to get them to work together, and likely end up having to do a couple of things twice. If you don't end up with any PHYSICALLY incompatable parts, then you're talking a bunch of work and shop time getting a tune together that works for you. The only real way around that would be to pick up a completely stock MSP turbo kit...

150 HP on a 5psi system a realistic number. and, as it was point out, you CAN achieve this NA also... however with a turbo setup you have room to grow from there once your budget allows for more upgrades, where as with an NA system you're talking a LOT of work and money to get any more juice out the go pedal.... plus, you don't get any sweet turbo whine or BOV noise with an NA, and lets be honest, you can't put a price tag on that! haha

the secondary fuel rail system is great. it doesn't use excess fuel. it doesn't kick on till boost hits..

I wasn't implying that it was wasteful, just... not my first choice as a setup. I'd rather tune one fuel delivery setup map... makes life simpler, less variables, especially as various upgrades are added.

Also, another thing to consider is that upgrading your exhaust will do WONDERS once you have a turbo in... let the turbo breathe and it will love you.

it all depends on your goals, but yes of course you have plenty of room to grow with turbo, but costs go up as well...the amount of money you want to spend is what will limit your build :)

truth.. money limits EVERYTHING..

and wagon-it's all good. but it's very easy to tune.

the exponential cost curve goes up a lot faster for NA when you go north of 175 hp than it does for turbo.... you're talking tons of machine work, fuel and timing mapping, tuning your cams (upgrading cams)... and what you usually end up with is one massive power spike... where as even at the same peak HP on a turbo car, you end up with a lot more area under the curve... and thus both a more drivable, and faster car.

oh yes my friend (yippy) there is no greater sound (alright)

fair enough, I in NO way mean to bag on your setup, or discourage the OP from going that route. I think if nothing else I would just personally have to learn a little more about exactly what you've got put together before I'd jump on it.

gotcha. idk. my setup on 5psi or 6psi.. can't remember, i was stomping ss camaros, stis, srt4s... nuts power man.. nuts power.

i am acctually haveing a friend look at your build and will let you know as soon as i can. but from his first thoughts he says it sounds good. so this could mean good things for both of us.(ughdance)

as long as its from a roll I could see the camaros and STis... from a standstill most of us wouldn't have a chance in hell.

oddly enough after a few rolls w/ the sti.. i asked if he wanted to go from a dig.. he said "no, what's the point, you've already beaten me 3 times".... i just looked and giggled..

he woulda OWNED you through 60'.... you would have had to take it up thru 100 MPH to catch up... either that or he was a WRX with STi body mods... and didn't want to give up that he was a poser. lol
