I want this car

waste.

I can't belive it took 16 cly,and quad turbos to make 1000 hp.

thats just weak.Bugatti has past thier prime.

125hp/liter ain't that bad. It's comparable to getting 250hp out of an msp, which is nothing to scoff at. Except the bugatti engine probably isn't on the verge of exploding.

exept for the fact that that engine was design for performace, and the FS-DE engine was designed for dialy driving w/ 100 hp.

soincomparison, you put as much thought/money and time into the 2.0-3.0 engine, you can ge the same kinda power(advise not to,but just to show you)

it's like a guy not having enough power from his stock 70's chevy w/ a 350,so instead he puts in a big block instead of upgrading the smaller engine.

it's a waste.

Making max power out of a little displacement is a nice trick, and worthy of merit, but why should that be the main goal of automotive engineers? The fact is for more power you either need more displacement, more revs, or more boost.
Engines with excessive amounts of revs and or boost typically don't last too long. That's the nature of the beast. That only leaves more displacement if you want a healthy reliable engine with gobs of power.

and the bugati has more of all three, if i was filthy rich, id have one, it would be nice to waste enzos and carrera GTs or the occaisional F1 car

it's a waste,250+mph=waste of technology.

I like that it has a 7 speed, but it makes a enzo look more practical.

the only reason that the other super cars exist is because the are derived from race cars, this isn't.it's a street car that can never get used by anyone to it's potential.

all it says is I have money, but who the **** cars,my girlfriend is VERY wealthy, and drives a sentra around.

imagane the day you get a door ding on it's carbon fiber body.

I wouldn't mind driving it, but I wouldn't want to own one. I don't think it would even fit in my garage.

Only 1001 horsepower? You say that like its not a lot. And you also have to take into consideration it has to be reliable...If they really wanted to, they could probably crank up the boost and do whatever, but why would they sell a car they're not sure will stand it.

And about using it to its potential, your wrong. (Not saying anybody would travel to do this) But for anybody who buys one, your allowed to use Bugatti's company test track for free.

thats the only thing usefull about it,is that it would be fun on a track, but even then most people that own this car won't drive it,and if they do it'll be put-putting around a track

it's like the farrari(S) auto cross they do here all the time, you get a few guys actually driving competativly but most of them are driving like a old lady, and are scared to speed up in fear that they may hit a cone.

lol,I'll shut up now.

Yeah dude, why are you shitting on this car? Who gives a flying bat **** if it's not practical?! You're not going to buy a million+ dollar car for your daily ******* driver.

It's also a good bit faster acceleration wise than any other production car ever.

Last months Road and Track (I think) had an article where one of their editors drove it at the Buggati test track. They actually have a limiter at 253mph.

Except it actually goes fast, and can handle some turns without rolling over?

Are you being sarcastic?
