I need help on deciding exactly what the best nitrous system is for our cars. I need close to expert or atleast experience responses. I'm looking for facts i cant go on opinions because i really dont want to get the wrong kind or wrong amount of shots and end up with needing a new engine. I appreciate any help here.

well every mp3 that shot nos has blown a motor as far as i know.

you can see that linuxracer tried, and so did pdhaudio. other people have also blown their motors. if you post or search around in the nitrous oxide forum youll find a hell of a lot more answers than here.

but if you still want to shoot with your advanced timing on your mp3, contact either acidbg or pdhaudio, both whom are selling their kits.

i used to want to shoot, but then i saw the pointlessness and dangerousness of it. thank god i wisened up.

Man have you ever seen what that does to you pistons I have seen a picture of what happens without forged not good.

Save up for forced induction or an NA setup. Nitrous is bad on the MP3 with advanced timing. I wouldn't do it without proper tuning, which isn't readily available for the MP3.

take my advice having had a mp3 with nitrous. DONT DO IT.
unless you get a P5 ecu.

I never said anything about heard I said saw. How long have you had it on your car? How many shots have you done?

well this is certainly interesting but to reccomend something to all you guys out there. Get AAA warranty and make sure u have a reliable mechanic thats willing to work with you while you screw them over. I have many friends with nos that have blown their engines (not mp3 owners). But i'd rather not go through the ordeal of missing my car for a whole month or more for a new engine. if you do a search there is a very old thread of a Protege5 owner who cracked his piston and block running NOS. Believe it was a wet shot. Too lazy to search for it though so I'll just throw in my own feelings - don't do it. save the cash and go turbo. leave the red toggles to paul walker

lol thats true i love turbo's but i been searching and looking at the spool turbo;s and they are running for like 3000 and i just am not ready to put that amount of money in when i'm probably gonna only be able to boost about 10 pounds.

this is true. not on a stock mp3 without killing the timing at least.
