why vote down light rail? yeah during construction, it's going to suck

It's a long story but in short
There is no room for it.
They are going to take away existing streets to make this rail system. We have traffic problems now and they want to take roads away!

They want to take out all left hand turns out of down town. That and the cost was said to be around 6 billion!

This on top of the tollroads. No thanks.

And there were other reasons.

I've been to Austin and I could definitly see that being a problem.


Portland is a ******* maze in the car. that light rail guys have is a god send to us outsiders.
