Mazda was asking me to pay 1250 include tax. Its fair? Or too much. My tire is 225 55r 19 as u know. Its fair price?

try tire rack to get an estimate. $200/tire * 4 + $60 mounting/balancing = $860 would be better estimate

I bought Continental TrueContact's in the 225/55/19 from Tire Rack. They were $194 each and with shipping came out to $853. I got them mounted and installed at the dealer, plus an alignment done at the same time which off the top of my head was another $120 or so I think. So all in I was just under $1k.

I ran Fuzion tires on my Audi Allroad. They were highly recommended, but I didn't expect much. They turned out to be the best summer tires I ever had on that car.

I will put them on my CX-5 they cost $110 each at Tire Rack. I have my local mechanic special order them at the same or lower price and no shipping. I will be looking at about $500 on the car and ready to go.

I will run them 3 seasons, in the winter I run Hakkapelita

I also bought Conti Tru contact tires from Tirerack. Having them installed at my local tire shop today. Will report on how they are. One of my oem Yokohama's blew out the other day. Wasn't repairable. With 27K on the car they were just under 6/32nds tread left so I decided to bite the bullet and replace all 4.

Fuzion really are sleepers. If I recall, someone at Tires + told me they were "back door" Firestones (?)

Purchased a 2008 used Subaru Outback in 2009. I asked the dealer to put on new tires, and he chose the Fuzions. Like you, I really did not expect much...in fact I truly expected the tires to be the bottom of the barrel. Turned out to be really pretty special. They were 17 inch, and I think they would have cost at retail about $500 + tax. Wound up getting about 40k miles on em before I sold it...still had about 3-5k miles left at that.

What I remember most was that they seemed to have a really aggressive tread design, but rode pretty quiet! In fact, I had to look twice at the rating, figuring from appearances, that they were for winter...wrong!

You can do much better on the price if you shop around the various online tire vendors. You can also find some quality brands to compare. I don't think you'll need to pay more than $800 for four quality tires, including shipping, install and taxes.
