i might have a new problem (pics inside )

its entirely possible - pretty unlikely, yet possible - that a factory turbo car would explode under the right conditions. its happened more than once on dynos, even stock. if the right amount of excessive load combined with other conditions is placed on said car, anything can happen.

it is 5000 for the built block we offer

Very true, but highly unlikey in this case where a "custom" intake and boost controller was used.

And how much is just a stock short block cost from Mazda?

I Get A Whole New Motor! The Said Its Everything Is On It! Oil Pump Power Steering And All. The Way It Comes Out Is The Way It Will Go In. That Makes Me Realy Happy

I Didnt Havev The Stuff On There For Long! I Didnt Like The Way The Boost Control Wouldnt Let Me Take It Under 20 Pound No Matter How Hard I Tryed I Could Fine Tune It So I Took It Off

ok i jsut got back from the mazda dealer a few hours ago! they had the sub frame dropped and the steering rack and the oil pan removed. also the axles and wheels.

i got to get a upfront look at the carnage! its pretty extensive!
there is a 2 holes one in the front and one on the back from the rod thumping around on there.

they are tyrin to convince me to get the mazdaspeed fly wheel and clutch since labor will be free b/c its gota be done n e way

neither one of those products fit the 2.3 DISI. we've tried this already and found they do not work.

you type your messages like u r txt wl drvng (eyeballs)

So I am not the only one having a hard time reading this. I've had to go back and read a few posts over again lately to decipher what was trying to be explained.

I don't think english is his first language (at least I hope so). Anyway after this is all said and done, it'd be nice to get some more info on the car's mod history.

So Im Number One

The Frist Ms3 With A Blown Motor And It Wasnt It My Falt!

New Motor On Order And They Told Me Hopefully Next Friday Maybe Monday Tuseday Latest

Congrats dude thats gotta be a worry you are glad to be rid of. Nice work with that entrapment s***.

wow.....I dont have any experience with the computer side of cars nowadays but internals is what I specialized in. I dont think it's something that we should be worried about, unless I am wrong our cars come with steel rods and we don't see nearly enough high rpms to reach the limit of them, it had to have been a flaw in like you said the bearing or wrist pin. But crap man I haven't seen a rod like that in anything that didn't spin at least 7800....good luck, on the lighter side if they dont stiff you for any money you will have a brand new motor to wail on.

I Have Never Seen A Wrist Pin Come Out Of The Pistion! When I Did The Rod End Was Way Messed Up Not Lookin Like Mine Did.

It Wasa One Way Road At 5 At Night I Couldnt Beat On It That Hard!

They did that for me. When my engine blew at 51,000 miles (thank god for extended warranty) They told me my clutch was almost dead and I should get a new one; they would throw it in for free. Well, they did, then when I went to pick up my car...they tried to make me pay for the installation of the new clutch. It took about an hour of bitching to finally leave without having to pay. Moral of the story: Might be a good idea to get it in writing before you do it.
