I thought it was available in orange, but Dodges web site doesn't show it. By the way, what are the realistic 0-60 times? If it is what you want, and you can afford it, do it!

5.4-5.9 sec. from the best to worst

I'd keep your car...save money....then buy something used like a used EVO. Why take the beating on a new car. If your car is paid keep it as long as you can. Make it your daily driver and buy a used SRT-4, EVO, or WRX. etc to mod.

Thats true, the major down side to the SRT/4 is the resale value. Its not worth crap so you can buy them used for cheap if the seller is being realistic.

The book value for resale is really low, the '03's with like 15k miles are booked at about $14,500, the only problem is no one is selling theres that low so people are just paying the price. I've seen so many SRT-4's being sold (ebay autotrader, forums, local) for only 2k under sticker. For example there is this '04 with a few thousand miles (i think 4k) with sunroof and its being sold for $18,999, lol the new ones with sunroof are 20,5xxx (what i've been quoted) so the booked value is low for them but since they are in such high demand latley people are just paying what others ask, so right now sellers aren't really having a problem getting a lot for em. True but not everyone want the hassle of waiting for a buyer so the end up taking a hit on a trade. You can target these people and basicly put out an open offer that anyone thinking of trading it should get a offer, then see if you can best it.

I am going to build a house (condo actually) so I need a better debt:income ratio. Plus the extra money I would save per month in insurance, gas, and payment would be nice to have. My wife may get a job working with me and then we would only need one car. If not then i will buy a MP3, MSP, or P5 to have a nice sporty car that is WAYYYY cheapter than my STi. I will have another one (STi, maybe Forester STi) though...one day after the house! :D
