Easy solution. Hire a lawyer. Get him to postpone it repeatedly for about a year. The cop will be tired of it...probably forget about it. And he'll agree to equipment failure which will get you no points. Just make sure you plead your case about how there were several people around you and you were going the speed limit.
You'll have to pay money but its the best way to go.
All cops are assholes. Never met a cop that I liked and I only got one ticket so far. What pisses me off the most is that they go crazy towards the end of each month, catching people for everything possible just to make up for not doing anything in the beginning of the month.
Going back to the main story, get a lawyer like ViDeo^_^kiD said and see what happens. I know a bunch of people who got out of situations messing with the cop like that
FIGHT IT!!!! I got a ticket a while back...caught by air-patrol...72 in a 55.
I fought the case in court and won. The trooper missed filed the ticket as he targeted me with a radar...while my copy of the ticket said air-patrol...
$0 in fines or court fees...
I have two other friends that have gotten numerous tickets in their lifetime and have never paid for one... Just like others have said...schedule a court appearance and reschedule...reschedule...reschedule... If the cop does not show up...case and ticket are dismissed!!
