I would have had them on last night but I need new lug nuts. I'm hoping that Autozone will have tuner lug nuts in our size...otherwise I'll have to order some. Even my blue ones won't fit.
damn man, that really sucks..... looks like going 8 wide in a set of rims isn't doing much for speed6s, I guess I'll be looking at 7 wide, or 7.5 at the most...... I'm feel your pain in disappointment........ if anything you could try to hock them on eBay......
I think so....but at 8 wide you would need to roll those rear fenders. Not that you need any more convincing Dan but these would look sexay on your P5!!
And sorry to hear they wont fit Chris....damn good deal you got and damn good of you to pass it on! If only I had some extra cash laying around.
Dan, you could have gotten a crazy deal on my RX-8 rims...these are gonna cost you more. But the size isn't far off from the RX-8 rims. +48 instead of +50. 5mm spacers in the rear and you'd be good to go. You'd need 215/35R18 tires though.
Here they were on the guy's RX-8...
The Mazda6 guys are telling me to try spacers but I really don't think it'll work. If I go to the Cape on Saturday I'll bring them and show you what they look like.
They would look sweet on your car Josh...hint hint. I already got Oleg thinking about them. I'm trying to find out whether the guy with the white car had an automatic.
That's what I thought, until I saw them on that Honda S2000.
As you know, these are knock-offs of the SSR Professor SP1 sold exclusively at Tirerack. The Tirerack website sucks because you can't just search by wheel size. I finally got the SSRs to come up when I chose a Honda Accord as my ride. They are 18x7.5 +43 with a 5-114 bolt pattern which is practically identical to 18x8 +48 except the 1/2" smaller rim width. The catch is that they are $329 each (on sale from $409/each). Check out the photos below...since the Rotas were so close I'll bet the SSRs would fit.
