I just got a MX-6! Help!

Okay I just traded my Jeep for a MX-6 and I was just wondering if anyone could help me out, tell what (if anything) is wrong, how to fix things, just different things like that. I don't wanna be left in the dark and maybe stuck on the side of the road or something. I'm about 20 minutes outside of Atlanta so you could even come over and look at it with me if you'd like. Thanks.

Yes I've driven it. The only three things so far that I have felt/seen/noticed that could be a problem are when I crank it and sometimes when i gas it there is a squealing which I believe is a belt so I'm not too worried about that. Two: I was driving it and I down shifted into second going around a cold-e-sac and it stalled out. It only did it that once but it shouldn't do it at all I don't think. And three: Its getting really hot.
