I have a question about VA emissions

I'd like to modify my 2009 MazdaSpeed 3 stock exhaust but I'm going to be moving to VA next year and I don't want to do something that will prevent me from passing inspection. I was wondering if some of the VA guys could give me advice as to how much I can do with my exhaust and still pass inspection. I'd like to replace the stock DP and leave the stock CBE. As of right now the only mods I have are a RMM and SRI.

Wish i could give you insight on that, ive only had catback exhaust on one car and it was ok. Where at in Va are you going to be moving to?

Well, Falls Church has it's own government in Fairfax County so I can tell you they are kinda a pain when it comes to modded cars....as for emissions well that has to do with federal regulations so as long as you still have a cat on it you should be fine, without then you best know how to feed air in to the system to lean out the reading.
