I got a code reader, so ask!!

But I have a question first. I had the mil/cel light on so I got the reader because there's a couple of people who do care stuff in my neighborhood.

But I got the code P1504: Idle air control circuit malfunction....

causes;
1>Intake leak (nope, throttle body mechanical condition/ failed throttle air bypass)

2>IAC fault (maybe, open/shorted circuit or failed IAC valve)

3>idle speed control valve closing solenoid control open circuit (in short it can't close all the way or open??)


other than that just ask and I can look up the codes for you. Just pm or post here, I check regularly.

So i found out what was wrong. It was a loose screw between the header and the cat. Also timing was adjusted which I was planning on getting done anyway. Code gone, engine back to itself.
