I gave my car a makeover lots of mods more soon to come :)

How does the car look with the moldings off? And what is the best way to remove them?

100x's better in IMO.

easiest way to remove....take some fishing line...and start sawing behind the moldings to saw the adhesive tape....

once you get enough space to put ur hands behind it you can just pull away from the car at that point.

then pick up some 3m adhesive remover to remove left over adhesive glue and such.

but be prepared to rub like a mother f'er and possibly have blisters on ur fingers when removing the left over adhesive

the car looks way cleaner!!! and just start from one side and rip them off, so people use dental floss to get it going and then once you get it of some kind of adhesive remover (goo gone) to get the glue off if you still have some on the car

That tail is really creative and unique, i have been thinkin about those taillights and to paint the headlights to look darker inside not that blackout s***.
How did u paint the rims? they look amazing and the red emblem in the center screams something fierce lol i really like that the best.

Decals add more to the uniqueness. yeah the pro5 isnt a speed but its a pepp lol its good enough!

I enjoy creativity and thats really good.

EDIT: yeah my car dont scream creative but what can i do. i'm broke for now lol

???? If you mean painting the chrome portion of the headlights black there is a how-to and it's fairly easy.

I think I'm gonna get some window visors, where did you get yours?

And the side moldings are removable? Didn't know that.

I got some ventshade visors as a gift and you should be able to order them from an Autozone etc. Mine attach via double sided tape to the outer portion of the window and I know they make them that go insdie the window trim for a cleaner look (like I said they were a gift).

You can also try weather tech. I am pretty sure they make a set for the P5 and are more expensive than the ventshade but attach securely within the window trim w/o the tape.

only thing im not liking is the mazdaspeed decal...it would look way better with just stars. Car looks good :)

Agreed. Popping on a Mazdaspeed sticker is like putting Type-R sticker on a LX (just my point of view).

I think the rest is well done. The tip is very creative and unique (not unlike what Orange County Choppers might do for you if they had a hold of your car).

i disagree...mazdaspeed is the racing division of mazda...and they did offer parts (exhaust, suspension) for the proteges...so it's perfectly ok to have that decal on the car.

hmmm.... looks good, I like that you did what YOU wanted to do. keep going, and you may end up with a crazier paintjob than my car lol

IMO, it's not Mazdaspeed badge-worthy unless it has some serious Mazdaspeed parts...like a turbo. But, to each his (or her) own. It's not my style, but it's well done and clean. The wheels look especially good. One of these days I am going to get up the nerve and time to do my own. Also, I would tint the rear tails.

painting the wheels was really easy i just used duplicolor engine enamel primer and black and red spray paint everyone said on here that it would crack that i should have used wheel paint but i also heard the wheel paint cracks...
ive had mine painted for months now and not a single scratch or crack or peeling i put a few coats of duplicolor clear coat on them even the center cap i drive carefully though i dont even have a single rock chip on them and also everyone said the brake dust would ruin the insides of the rims where i painted them red...i clean them once a week and there still perfect :)

I love the hello kitty tip.

the mazdaspeed thing I think takes away from the other details. and especially since its not turboed (yet) I would ditch that.

but ive said it before.

I like what youve done to it. You made it you

yea mazdaspeed sticker gots to go. maybe it it actually WAS a mazdaspeed it would be more acceptable but still a no for me. the hello kitty tip is actually pretty damn cool but even if i were a girl i wouldnt rock it. the wheels look good tough

as for the teggy, get rid of the red acura logo and put stock chrome OR a black out a stock. other than that its pretty damn good
