gas in ct has been outrageous for 30 yrs, they suck! i'm bringing 10 jerry jugs in the hatch with MA gas at $3.93...jk

it is not only the prices, it's the additive that Ct puts in that kills the mileage and makes the gas cost about a dime more per gallon. Went up to NH in my F-150 in april burned 3/4 of a tank, filled up came home only burned about 1/2 tank, for the same amount of miles driven

Gas is $4.19 a gallon here on base.... Which is *supposed* to be the cheapest around.... And it's not.

There is a long and drawn out deal about how the base gas station sets it's prices..

I spoke with Bob last week about rims and about valve covers.
Nice guy. He remembered Martin (NDN) very well too!
He quoted $100 per rim and $50 for the VC.
60-70% of the cost to do the rims is the required stripping down to bare metal.
This enables the powder to electrostaticly adhere to the bare metal forming the best bond actually penetrating into the surface pores when it is baked.

Looks like the RX-8 rims I am buying from Josh will be going in for Powdercoating. Hi Gloss white.

Oil Change

Changed the oil today. Used some new Mobil, 0W30. See how that one goes.

Washed the car, pretty dirty from the ride home. Had these little black nodules on the car, from the past day or so.
