So the first day was at Dominion Raceway in Thornburg, VA back on the 13th of November. While waiting for that day, I got an email notification about a last minute track day at Summit Point on the 2nd of December.
Ran the whole track in 3rd gear pretty much. 90-100 is about redline.
Had a blast at the first track day... Didn't have my GoPro set up properly. Dark interior, light exterior and wide angle setting; I got a nice shot of the interior, but the outside video was all washed out. So no video, but I did pay for professional photography.
Brought the car home and taught my 17 yr old niece to drive stick shift. While lugging the engine between a schoolbus and the school building on either side, I heard a noise. I thought I had a nice bit of rod knock... But it's intermittent. Also found no glitter in my oil, so I figured I'd send it yesterday and NOT eat the cancellation fees.
This time, I had the cam and OBD2 reader set up properly.
