Seriously Dex, it's not worth the time and effort and money you've already spent on it. Just take it to a tire shop and ask for a rotation -- should cost only around 5 bucks and whatever the hell is holding the tire on (rust?) will be broken up and taken care of then...thereby allowing you to take them off yourself and put on the P5 rims. Only $5 and a lot less time and headache.

what if they scratchx0rs my rims :(

Have you been rotating your tires every 5K miles? When you get them off, put a VERY light coating of Anti-sieze on the lugs and wheel mating surfaces. Again, very light cuz you dont want a gap to form between the rim and the spindle. This has helped my problem. If you try the "loose lug" technique, just loosen them and then use your hand to set them at 1 turn from finger tight. Just do 1 side at a time. You will know when it pops. Don't go over three MPH. If its the front, just turn the steering wheel back and forth slowly. Be ready to jack it up immediatly.

those ****** rims are a b**** they dont even budge and i can usualy loosen anything with the monkey strengh of mine but damn....we will get the bitched off today i gaurendamntee it

if you give the tire a good kick it should come off....

that is one of the problems with our hubs....

the metal on the wheel reacts with the hub and they fuse together with a ton of corrosion..

dont hammer....

kick it... put your back towards the car and kick the top of the tire....

it should come off.

get a saw and cut them off

seriously, that's about as constructive as some of those comments (lol)

no, ive been driving around with 2 different rims on the front vs. the back . lol i look like such a ricer.

NO HAMMERS

you go take a hammer to a nice 17" racing hart. are you mad!?

you could use a big ass hammer if you put a wood block in front of the wheel. Are you trying to do it with it jacked up? If you haven't dropped it down to try, do it and rock the car like it's a god damn riot. Act like the Bears won the Superbowl!!!

i dont know how to act like that. :p

anyways, ive already TRIED the driving with lugs loosened thing. dont work. trust me they are ON good. im not pussy-footing around and tapping them, hoping they'll fall off :)

Dex: You need to get the liquid wrench on to the hub at the center. Get an allen wrench and take off the center caps and put the liquid wrench on where the wheel meets the hub. Then drive it for a day. Next day, try to get it off. No go? More liquid wrench and drive for another day. Repeat as needed. You can also try Marvel Mystery Oil.
