No harm, no foul. My frustration perhaps should have been more directed at the OP, as it was his misuse of the term "lug" (as he was using it to described the lug NUT) is what set me off in the first place.

wow... this is why when i get my new wheels, I'll take my wheels and tires to get mounted, then bring them back to my house and properly torque them my self.. but you should be able to trust someone you pay to do the work right, but obviously you can't anymore. Sometimes they just jam them on with an impact gun and over torque them and warp the rotor...
 
yeah, even at valvoline when I worked there, we used an impact gun with a torque stick... when we snapped 2 wheel studs in 3 months that way that was the end of that.... manual torque wrench set to factory spec it was... the shops that just use a socket on their impact gun make me sick...
