Hey Guys,

I was looking at purchasing a tuner but I am undecided on which one to get. I have a stock 07 MS6 with the only mod being a MS CAI. In the future I plan on getting a test pipe, BPV, TIP and possible a cat-back exhaust. These will probably be the extent of the mods I do to the car. With that said, which tuner would be best to get. I leaning towards the hypertech since it is $200 less than the COBB AP. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Cobb AP hands down. More custom ability to tune and adjust for different parts, and very close in price.

If you're looking for one that is plug in and forget, the HT seems like a nice part, but I don't know much more than that.

Tunersteve,

In your opinion, should I wait to by the tuner until I have all the mods listed above installed? I probably won't start modding until Oct. when my warranty expires.

The BPV won't make a difference, but the TIP, TP, and exhaust will. If you go with the AP, you'll start as a Stage 1, then move up to a Stage 2 after the exhaust parts.

You can buy it now or later, it's your preference. Just understand what maps you'll want to run to be safe and reasonable with the tuner you choose.

Where at in MI are you located? PM me if you like.
