How can you mistake a Protege engine bay with a Miata's?

It should be more than obvious by looking at the way the engine is mounted, one is for FWD one is for RWD. Also, Miatas have their battery in the trunk and there's 2x the amount of space in the engine bay even though the car is smaller...

That was pretty damn fun, you guys! Next time we have to drive somewhere. We were kind of thinking out loud about a meet at a kart track. I don't care which one, even Malibu GP would be fun...isn't there a better one in the Bay area though?
