If I were you, Terry, I'd go over the hill for the install. There's not many shops around here to really compete with Lotts.
-Dan's Audio hacked m P5 up pretty bad...the guys an idiot.
-House of Sounds is a bunch of tweakers with vodka in their slurpee cups
-Traffic Jams went out of business
-Circuit City is a bunch of kids learning on your car, but at least they'll get it right or you can go back again and again for free.

I always use Z Auto Sound in San Jose. Talk to Jim and tell him that I sent you and as long as you do your research before hand he'll usually give you a pretty good price and their install work is top notch.BFMRGTX said:

Thanks, Lads. I'm hoping to "upgrade" the bad, 4.5" stock speakers in the GTX to something a little more better w/o going crazy.
Problem is, the speaker locations are only good for the stock speaker size. I'll have to do the horrible thing of having the installers put 6"ers in the door panels and somewhere in the hatch area. Maybe I'll get a custom CF or fiberglass panel put in the hatch to mount the rear speakers. Just as long as I can put the rally tires in the back for RallyX'ing w/o mucking things up.
On another note, I plan on doing the test manifold and radiator install this weekend or next depending on the weather. If anyone wants to show up, lemme know. We can get some food from the taqueria and make an afternoon of it.

neat! One is to assume the lights were green before. The amber/red looks pretty sweet 
Well the gauge cluster is back-lit by 5 or so bulbs with little green rubber "condom" thingies which fit over the bulbs. Originally I had planned to solder in some red LEDs, but after playing around a bit with my keychain LED light I realized the light from the LEDs is too focused to be of any use -- it would only light up a small portion of the gauges. So then I bought some orange glass paint for a buck or so from Michaels, slapped on like 4-5 coats on the bulbs and stuck em back in. Time consuming++

I am having the Espelir springs put on my car right now. In my opinion they are the best springs you can get without going to coilovers. They have a front linear/rear progressive design that makes it so you don't lose turn-in and the drop is nice, aboutn an inch and a half, without being too extreme.
That miata is teh shiznit! Great news the check for my car was cut finally today so work might actually begin. They wanted 656.00 for a two inch dent from a hit and run and I said **** that my paint wasn't even scratched. I would rather pay 500.00 to learn how to do it myself! so total bill to me 1000.00 + ass reeming monthy bills from USAA sweet...
