Hwy 9 Fun Run!

Happy Birthday!

Fun drive tonight. Too bad it was so damn foggy in the mountains. Black Rd and Old Santa Cruz Hwy were both clear and fun though!

I just got back!

I LOVE MY MAZDASPEED!!!!!!

Wow! The car is totally alive now. We didn't get to dyno tune today because the dyno shop filled up and didn't leave room for us, but we were able to street tune it for about 3 hours so I have basic maps ready to go. I am boosting between 8-15psi on 91 octane now :D It definetly needs dyno tuning, but it's already a huge improvement over stock.

I am going to bed now, more details to come...

Jared -- drool-worthy :)

Next time I see your car bring some quick detailer so you can clean all the slobber off :D

Who wants to come hang out at Auto RnD tomorrow while the Volks go on and then get an early Taqueria lunch? (I am going to be there around 10:00 I think)

ha ha, we can go for a quick ride.

Just remember its not totally dialed in yet... much tuning still needs to be done.

my car is so dirty right now... I really need to wash it, it's gonna have beautiful new wheels on too... sad for my dirty car...

I pulled on an M3 tonight. he he he... The dude was so shocked! He gave me a thumbs up as he did a fly by and then slowed down, and was like, WOW, what do you have in there, that car is fast. Couldn't believe that a Mazda Protege just pulled on him. We started from like a 20mph hour roll, I was behind him at a left turn and he went into the right lane and I was in the left and we both just went for it. I don't know what he had done to his car, but it was M3 with a dinan license plate frame. Seemed like a cool guy, turns out he is neighbors with my fiancee, I'll have to meet him sometime. :D

I love my Mazdaspeed!
