Hwy 9 Fun Run!

the old 150grit does the job for me, roughen em up a bit so as to better bed in the new pads

but yeah, what MinnowGT said

Yeah roy I suggest you give some sandpaper a try. That's what I used when I was working on them at nates. Super easy.

Ya, I never got a good really good look at the car but I would say it is equivalent to how daryl's looks if you've seen his. It suffers similat problems to other 1st gens, faded front bumper and ragtop

I've been following this map for the last 3 hrs or so and the rain seems to form a "hole" of sorts right over the Bay Area (cool)

Check this out I was doing this while I was talking to roy. It's my new leather shift boot. I unstitched my old one because well leather kicks ass and it smells good. I bought a big ass hide off ebay for a mere 15.00 which will give me enough to do the shift bood and either the front or rear cloth side sills on the interior of the door. I don't know about the rest of you but mine is starting to look more purple than black so I'm trying to change that. Anyway check it out. This was stitched with the dental floss believe it or not. I would use the yellow stuff in the pic but it's too big and the floss seams(get it?) to be a perfect substitute for the other stuff.

Suede..kick ass. Mine is a two piece deal though with a seam on the fore and aft side of the boot. That thing looks soft, if I made one in suede you would see wear marks where I was molesting it whilst driving.

Oh and another thing. I made my first animated gif file and I'm having a problem if any of you are familiar with potoshop and image ready. I currently have a file in that is in an image ready format. I took the picture from photoshop and altered it to make four different frames. I'm all done with it. I can even press a couple buttons on my little tool page to see it in it's animated form as I want it to appear on the web. The problem is and for the ******* life of me I can't figure out why I can't save it as a .gif file. The picture is done and when I go into image ready and save it all I can do as save it as a .psd file. WTF is going on with this and WhyTF didn't adobe just let you save the god damn file as a .gif from the image ready application in the first place. Sometimes software co. make it a hell of a lot harder than it has to be.

Looks good! I like it :D

As for your gif, I am afraid I can't help you there :(

From the online dictionary dict.org

"From Jargon File (4.3.0, 30 APR 2001) :

google v. [common] To search the Web using the Google search engine,
`www.google.com'. Google is highly esteemed among hackers for its
significance ranking system, which is so uncannily effective that many
users consider it to have rendered other search engines effectively
irrelevant. The name `google' has additional flavor for hackers because
most know that it was copied from a mathematical term for ten to the
hundredth power, famously first uttered by a mathematician's infant
child."
