Hwy 9 Fun Run!

Well, 2 things convinced me to get T!-Ss for my Miata.

1. Ya is damn fast with them, and they sure seem to let you(and everyone around you) know when they're about to let go.
2. 59 bucks a tire can't be beat for a comparable tire. 75 bucks apiece for 15" ES100's??

T1S-es are crap dawg, I hate these tires like the bastard child of a one eyed cripple monkey with one nut. They have NO grip and I can't readjust my driving to suit the tires so I'm just gonna get some more azenis.

Depends on what you want from the sub Natey. I believe both those are good subs, but you need to decide what you want from your sub, SQ or DB, Small box vs. Big Box, 10" vs. 12".

Personally, if I was going to build a single sub system in the P5 from scratch, I would go with a high output 10" sub designed for a small box (if you want to do something like Roy's) In my opinion 10" subs are the ideal size for good sq while still providing a good bit of bump.

I agree, Jared. Plus, I already bought a box that's kinda like Roys. I just need to find a high-output 10" that's not too deep.

I'm leaning toward the Brahma, but I really like the RF set-up I have so I almost want to stick with what I know sounds good reliably. (uhm)

BTW: Tony, what time are you coming over? I have to take my cat to the vet this morning, but I oughtta be home by noon. :) Gimme a call on my cell if you want.

FYI: Gonna be at Natey's tomorrow late morning/early afgternoon. Anyone wanna come through? Nothing special, just going to hang out. Maybe drive, not sure...who am I kidding? Drive is inevitable! Anyone down? Impromptu BBQ?
(direct)Foggy?

From what I can recall the Brahma subs are really more for DB than SQ so if that's the case I would go with the Rockford sub.

Tony, I'm going back up North on the 16th or 17th morning, will get there around the afternoon. Wanna do the swap sometimes in the afternoon? :) :)

Julie went to the Prince concert. I think I'll go for a fun run and see if I can scrape that DG lip off of my car. (rockon)

No scraping, but a damn fun run. (drive)
I met up with some dudes in a celica like Ian's. lol, It's pretty scary when the car behind you that's about to fly off the cliff is full of people. I took it a little slower down 236 because of that....and I didn't want to scrape my new lip off.
I'm becoming more and more impressed by those 3rd gen(+-93) Celicas.
