Hwy 9 Fun Run!

one of my classmates has a friend that puts together events at unlimitedlaps.com, and they do a similar thing, have a whole track day, you run as many laps as you want, can be placed in a beginner group if you want tips from instructors, and a lunch is included with your entry fee

Does anyone remember the organization for setting up track events? The instructor who was speaking after lunch, for the drivers meeting, plugged his group and said that they have track events at the three tracks (Laguna, Thunderhill, Infineon) up here all the time.
If I can find that info, I'm going to check into the webpage and see what's what.

I also met a lady with a nice little greem Miata. She runs a site called www.track-days.org Her name's Stef and she's really nice...and she has a Miata and a P5! Andrew and Roy may remember her. She was the only person at the event who showed any interest in our P5s.

If it's cheaper than 160.00 I would be totally down. I'm not spending money on my car anymore for the most part(lsd only in the future) so I will have money at any time you(Rishie) or anyone set one up.

Count me in for any track-day that you can drum up, Rishie. :) As long as we can get a couple weeks' notice, I'll be there fo sho!

Did the license plate on her Miata say "green frog" or something to that affect? If so, that lady was super nice to to talk to.

Thanks for the links, guys. I'll have them bookmarked by the time I get home tonight.

'93 929 master cylinder is on order from MSM
and the '95 Protege brake booster is too.

If you haven't already, go get your two races in this year to qualify for the MSM discount. Totally worth it, and they don't give a crap if you win or loose, either. They also have a Protege catalogue on their webpage, but I didn't check it out.

w00t, I was called a "Stupid Initial D ***" by a guy who drives an MR2 who calls himself MugenRex, who spins out at a stop sign, and who believes that inside-inside is the fastest way through a corner.

lol, I thought those guys were a little rude. They're just eggy because we reeled 'em in so easily on their local road.

There are many clubs. The best thing to do is join NASA. We hold private events at buttonwillow. There's track quest and track junkies i believe. Do a quick internet search. You will find these guys in the RWD and AWD type vehicle forums.

US "P's" need to step up and show some heat. I think we can become a very involved group. I will be more than glad to do this privately for just our NPOT crew. We will need about 20 people to attend at a time i believe, but depends on the track. i know button i can do this.

Buttonwillow sounds insane, Rishie. Just tell me where to sign!

Yeah, Roy. I definately think a MVKK meet is in order. I dunno about you, but I have my donut jones on.

I am so jealous of all you guys and your Laguna Seca signatures

:'(

Getting closer to driving my car again, just need Apexi to get on the ball and ship my back ordered air filter so I can put my bumper back on. Then I can at least drive my car again, still need a new manifold and to replace the axles and put in the new crank seal to stop my oil leak.
