Yea, I always thought they would scare the hell out of me too. But I have gotten used to not being scared. I also have been mountain biking my whole life, well up until I got a car. I have been reading alot of bay area motorcycle forums lately. They do the exact same thing as we do, except they do it on 2 wheels and the overall cost of just going out for a ride on a motorcycle is alot less than a car.

Jesus Jared I almost wish I was your wife so you could buy me all that nice stuff for my car. The Davis Motorsports Club meet was a huge success. And guess what there were some Lancer guys that were totally bagging on Stu haha what a loser! we met up and went on a drive. Started at 8pm and didn't end till 11. The meet started at 6. I took them on a tour of Pope Chiles Rd and HWY 128. I totally blew their minds. Here are some pictures:

BTW a girl drives the miata and she has the track record on the kart track here in davis so it look like Natey and Ya would have some competition here.

Most people could not believe how well I could hang and handle with them. The guy with teh Street Prepared 325(black) said he could barely keep up with me on the hairpins without having to gas it and spin out. Haha the Protege strikes again. On the way home the woman w/ the miata and I decided to open it up on 128. Let's just say I was losing her in the twisties since she had stock tires.

I gotta get everything for my car now before I get married because afterwards money will be tight and the mods will be fewer and far between. But eventually the plan is for us to purchase a WRX as her car with a set of winter wheels for trips to Montana to see her folks. Then we'll have a very happy garage, built Mazdaspeed and WRX.
