New Orleans was owned by Katrina

Seriously... My thoughts and prayers are out to everyone that was affected by hurricane Katrina. I lived in pensacola, fl for 21 years and I know about hurricanes and the damage it can do

yea they are going to have to rebuild new orleans....its sad. i lived on the 3rd floor so my place should be fine...not flooded that high yet. i just feel bad for all the people that were just gettin by on min. wage jobs supporting a family that could not afford insurance on their house. they have nothing. no job, house, car, or money.....but they do have their family which IS the most important part. i think im still in shock and just numb....so much history is going to be lost. i also feel for the people in gulfport and everywhere else that got hit... they were completely wiped off the face of the earth...it was much worse there.

i feel kinda bad because I haven't really been following the news lately...I started watching CNN a few hours ago and was in shock to see the devastation katrina caused. I had no idea it was so bad. It's good to hear you're alright, and from the sounds of it, your home should be good...my prayers go out to all those poor people that have been totally ruined by this hurricane.
