im posting on this side, since i just relplaced the tires and still have humming noise.
a couple of months back i started hearing a humming noise that changes pitch based on speed of vehicle. it does not change if in neutral, different gear, accelerating, etc., only constant in sound is that with the vehicle speed. the tires were running low on tread, and werent aligned right, so there was uneven wear. got them relplaced yesterday and the car is quiter than it used to be, but i still have a hum thats pissing me off. checked the diff fluid and it was fine, seems like the sound is coming from the rear. any thoughts or anyone have this issue in the past? what else to check? bearings? my hearing? anything?
