HP Racing Header????

it doesnt exist, the ractive headers are going to be shipping to the US soon and KYMP5 and myself will have a GB for them right around 175 +shipping(10-15$)

it is a one piece 4-1 header that bolts to the 2nd cat.

there is a thread with pictures from someone in canada who has one(canada got 10 headers shipped to them before the US gets theirs=/).

ONly mods needed is a MIL eliminator or have a 2nd o2 sensor welded into the mid pipe behind the cat and lengthen the o2 sensor tube.

The reason why I asked is, I'd like to get a header that just plain fits. No modifications to the o2 sensors or anything like that. Where can I find the racing mazda header?

the racing mazda one won't fit without modifications either. you're gonna have to either use the test pipe or weld on a high flow cat. also, you'll need the O2 modifier. the way the ecu works, we can't have a header without modifying something... unless you want to trip the CEL and make the car run super rich all the time.

the mil eliminator takes less than a minute to install. splice into four wires, thats it. and it needs no other modifications, unless you need to pass emissions.

yah I have seen a few people say, oh well it needs a mod so i guess I wont do it, to me this really doesnt make sense.

I mean you are going through installing on of the bigger bolt on mods you can do, also one of if not the most important for our cars and dont wanna take the extra 5 minutes and 20bux to wire in a MIL fix?

Im sorry but if you want anywhere near decent gains you need to go turbo or get that damn primary cat out of there, which can only be done with a header.

Also if you can wait a while, wait till december, get the ractive header and their new catback system at the same time which will require no mods since their catback will have the 02 sensor in place from the factory. plug and play except maybe lengthening the 02 sensor tube a little.

for the price/quality/gains i cant see anyone beating this header right now.

Well, I already have the HKS axle back and have to pass emissions after the 1st of the year, so no, It's not worth the time or money to do it.
