Well I'm brand new here, and I'm a few days away from owning a white 08 MS3, and I cant wait!(drive)

I live in Mxico, where the car just went on sale last May. I'd be happy to hear from any "paisanos" or from any gtg in the southern US, who knows maybe I can make a visit.

I have no plans to mod it, not a fan of making big mods, though I just might try softening up the suspension a bit if the bumps in the crappy roads are too much for it, 'cause I'd rather have a bit more grip on the road.

Well, my car was delivered yesterday in the afternoon, and it's waaay more than I expected. I was expecting it to be a bit of a handful when just crawling along, but it's very docile and smooth. The suspension is just right for my tastes, and even when driving it along some pretty bumpy places it wasn't harsh at all.

I was expecting the power, but I wasn't expecting the car's handling, I mean WOW! I took a little mountain pass yesterday, where I usually had to be "on it" in my previous car (00new beetle) to get some good speed out of it; in the MS3 I was taking it real easy,since I'm gonna break her in gently, and I was still going as fast as my best in the bug.

Though I still haven't gotten fully used to the pedals (for heel-toeing) and I still have to concentrate a bit when shifting so I don't put her in an unexpected gear. But so far, I'm loving it!

...and no problems with volume 34 and 35 (alright)
