...won't fluid flow out of it? cuz...that kinda concerns me.L8R said:You don't need that. It is a hose that connects the throttle body to the radiator fluid. I have removed that also, it only heats up the throttle body.
gotcha. i'ma just remove all the s*** in my way, and unhook as much as possible w/ the sensors, and see where i go w/ that and how much room i have. if you get that how-to.let me know. thanks.L8R said:Yes, fluid will leak out. You will need two caps: one for the hole inthe picture and one for the throttle body. You will need it for cold starts I think. There is a how to I am trying to search for right now. A lot of people have removed it.
You can remove the entire harness, but I think it'll be a big a b****... I have seen other members sell the harness itself, but IDK how you go about removing a lot of that.
pfsst.. you make me feel dumb..i have cold starts..i know what it means. i'm saying i didn't know why it was NEEDED, like, if it made something not work by not having it..ya know?L8R said:For when the weather gets very cold? Your car may not start. I'm not exactly sure. I'm still searching.
heh. how do you relocate the fuse box?? that interests me..i wanna do it.L8R said:Oh yah yah, you should be safe... Man this is so irritating lol I cant find the thread, sorry.
oh i thought you did it on yours. that would look awesome. i guess you have to move all the wires or something?i might do this. i'd write up a how-to on that one.L8R said:My friend did on his 240... A LOT of soldering involved. He moved it to his fender well...
DOIN IT.L8R said:Nuts. Yah, you'd have to basically cut all the wires to the box, extend them, and move the fuse box where ever.
hmm..i thought it said you MOVED it. or something.L8R said:That was always there? That is the plug for the windshield wiper motor.
oh s***. where'd it get moved to?L8R said:Oh no, I showed that area because I removed all those brackets and wires in that spot. The diagnostic box and ground wire was moved.
