Is there anyway to tighten the E-brake on a PRO5 manually? Or are they self adjusting. <-- somthing like as the rear brakes wear out the brake loosens up. Im trying to do some tail whipe makin vids but I'm having trouble making nice slides with a "loose" handbrake.

Thank you

yea u you take the little cover off the e-brake area.. u will see a nut and i think that will make it tighter.. But i donno about e-brake slides.. be carefull on dry ground, dont make it to tight were your brakes rub all day, that could be very gad for the rotors.

Success!, few turns <more like 50> and the hand brake only takes 6-8 clicks to keep the car from rolling forward on a hill. Let the slides begin.

vids are where its at and I shall post after hosting is complete. But for now off to make more clip.

be warned, I love my Protege5, i do. But I love having fun with it more. I'm a little brutal sometimes. Forgive me for putting my car through some nasty work. I say this because I was flamed for actually putting a bumper sticker on the bumper of it.

Be back later with vids.
