how to remove the center piece

Wassup, title says it all how do I get that silver center piece out?

Pull on the plastic piece that wraps around the e-brake.(the part with the rubber slits). Its pops right out

From there you can carefully snap off the silver plastic trim that wraps around the shifter and to the cup holders.
