Matt V, please share your results after you ride...
I was wondering, how does it hold up on leaking the music out of the car? my gf complains about hearing my stereo when i'm a quarter mile away even with windows up. How does it sound outside or the car with the padding compared to without?
Do you have a hard time reinstalling the paneling, carpeting, and seats because of the added material? I was thinking of doing the cheap Frost King along with the Ensolite IUO...
I didnt read the whole thread. but anyone considering taking out the carpet and laying down a layer. that should reduce alot of noise.
the carpet will be fine.... the door panels, you actually want the deadening on the doorskin, not the inner part.
Could you explain what you mean by "doorskin" vs. the "inner part"? Would it be "A" or "B" in the attached picture? From what ive seen in this thread, everyone has attached the soundproofing material to "A"

ok i think i just got it ... he placed some on the inside of the plastic we can see when we're in the car, then he place some on the inside of B AND a bit on A around the speakers. OP am i corect ?
Some results from my trunk being done. Before this I noticed a significant amount of noise in my hatch area, it has significantly reduced because of the Frost King.
I bought two rolls of the stuff and want to put some in as I do my audio system replacement. I'll put 10" squares of dynamat around the speakers, but the frost king stuff in the doors. I am way too busy to disassemble my car and take out seats, carpet, etc. What areas (other than doors) do you think would give me the most improvement without too much disassembly?
I only plan to do the doors and trunk. taking out the seats and sill plates really isn't that hard.. but I'm really not worried about it.
