Anyone knows how to put back the metal bar for the H4 bulb. I just replaced my H4 bulbs and forgot how I took it off. If you have any picture of the metal bar on properly it would be very helpful.

Thankyou

huh? the little one that wrapped around and then tucks in and holds in place? if so, thats just requires you to close it and push in and put it behind the stopper...if not...which prob. it's not what i'm talking about, pictures would be nice.

Thes pictures are from the left front head light.

If you guys have any pic of yours on (the right way). Please show me a picture of it.

Thanks

holy unfocused pictured batman!

there is no real trick to it, should only take a simple down and inwward push to get it below the notch then when released it should lock into place. nto hard, i can make a short film about it in about an hour if you need, once I get home.

let me guess, you took out the screw, right? well, to put it simply, you're screwed.

If you can do that it would be great.

Which end of the metal bar goes next to the screw? Is it the U shape end?

sorry, i made the video, but had to run over to my rents house with the wife to have dinner and say bye to my visiting grandmother, tried to upload it there but was having difficulties with their dial up connection (gun to head).

here is a video but I am not sure if it will help and if you took the bar all teh way out it might be more difficult. You're supposed to just swing it out of teh way and swing it back when changing the bulb, you'll see in teh video, if you can't see it then I can look at my set up in the morning and see if I can't figure out where you messed at.

Nope, dint take out the screw at all. Just loosen it a bit to take out the metal bar and bulb.

you don't need to loosen the screw or take out the clip - its made to just flop out of the way

glad you got it back together, too

I've had to change the bulbs in my MSP a lot, don't know why. Anyway, from the first time I did it the whole metal bar came off, didn't just swing open like it's supposed to. Hard as hell to get back in, usually takes me quite a few minutes to do it each time.

Guess I'll try tightening the screw first before I have to take it off the next time.
