How to plastidip rear valance?

Found a bunch of threads talking about it and showing up finished product but is there a how to anywhere? Should I get the dip of the spray?

I say give it a 2-3 coats of spray

I did about 5 coats. for me that was enough, i had a rock chip it at 3 coats so i melted the surrounding area, touched it up and applied 2 more coats. Just do 5 coats and be happy

But for the rounded corner edges? You know what I'm talking about. Seems like you'd have to angle the tape 1000 diff ways to get a perfect curve.

so, do it then. lol it'll be well worth it in the end. You can't be lazy while doing this....

Do I let dry in between coats or just keep putting it on?

Put on a light tack coat the first go around, and then heavier coats with just a little dry time between. If you start to get runs then you're laying the coats on too close together.

Funny this thread popped up. Just plastidipped my brother's celica for him today.

You can dip on top of the old dip, it reactivates it and softens it enough to stick to it. If you don't pull the tape while it's still wet the edges will pull up.
